Regarding The PDIP National Work Meeting, Puan Maharani: Will Talk About Important Issues, One Of Which Is A Potential Candidate

JAKARTA - The PDI-P (PDIP) will hold a National Working Meeting (Rakernas) today, Tuesday, June 21 to Thursday, June 23. Later, in this activity there are a number of things that will be discussed including the names of potential candidates who will be carried in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"You can do it. The National Working Meeting of the party that won the election, the party that currently has enough seats will certainly talk about important issues for the nation and state," said PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani to reporters at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta. quoted on Tuesday, June 21.

"One of them is the names, maybe candidates for people who are considered to have the potential to advance in 2024," he added.

Meanwhile, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said the names of the candidates to be carried in the 2024 presidential election were already in the hands of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. However, the announcement is still waiting for the right moment.

"The names (of presidential candidates, ed) are with Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri. She continues to consider it," said PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto at the Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Monday, June 20.

"But again, the current priority scale is to work downwards to help the people and cooperation in terms of carrying out presidential and vice presidential candidates will be carried out at the right moment," said Hasto.

Likewise with the exploration of the coalition, said Hasto, this is also waiting for the right momentum. However, communication with other parties is still ongoing.

"We continue to build communication with the general chairmen of the parties so that the similarities to the platform and cooperation in the context of the presidential election will ultimately lead to the determination of candidates. And that's when we will see the right momentum," he said.

As previously reported, a series of National Working Meetings took place on Monday night, June 20, which began with the registration process. In addition, there will be Tahlil and Gema Sholawat Cinta Tanah Air and Haul Bung Karno 2022 at the At-Taufiq Mosque, Jakarta.

Meanwhile, during the National Working Meeting, the DPP DPIP divided the invitees and participants into three groups. The Main Hall on the second floor of the Party School will be filled with President Jokowi, DPP functionaries, chairmen and secretaries of DPD throughout Indonesia, as well as governors and ministers of party cadres. There will be a total of 98 people in the room.

The second group in the first floor class II room was filled with the Treasurer of the DPD Party throughout Indonesia with a total of 34 participants. The third group of the first-floor classrooms filled with Faction Leaders, Commissions, and Heads of Poxy I-XI Factions, Heads of Agencies, and Heads of the Party's Central Fighting Community.
