Governor Of South Sulawesi Hands Rp. 12.4 Billion To Regent Andan Purrichta Ichsan To Restore Gowa's Economy

MAKASSAR - Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaiman handed over financial assistance from the South Sulawesi Provincial Government for the 2022 Fiscal Year to Gowa Regency in the amount of Rp. 12.4 billion for the economic recovery of the area.

Financial assistance for Gowa, one of which is to support the construction of a road to the Batu Manrusu tourist spot which is a waterfall tourist location in the area.

"Alhamdulillah, Rp12.4 billion in financial assistance for FY 2022, for Gowa Regency to support Batu Manrusu tourism," said Andi Sudirman after handing over financial assistance to Gowa Regent Adnan Purichta Ichsan at the South Sulawesi Governor's Office in Makassar, Monday, June 20.

Andi Sudirman said this assistance was an effort to encourage economic recovery in the local area.

"We encourage the district government to immediately realize it, as an effort to stimulate and recover the economy and the tourism sector," he explained.

Gowa Regent Adnan Purrichta Ichsan was grateful, even though in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the attention of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government continued to provide financial assistance in supporting development in Gowa Regency.

This is evidence of the support and collaboration between the South Sulawesi Provincial Government and the Gowa Regency Government.

“I express my pride and gratitude for the financial assistance that has been given to the Gowa Regency Government and the community. This assistance will definitely have an economic impact on the people in Gowa Regency," he said.
