AGO Is Waiting For The Results Of Finding Criminal Violations Regarding The Procurement Of Top Cleaner Fluids

JAKARTA - Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) Ali Mukartono is waiting for the results of the Police's investigation into the alleged corruption case related to the purchase agreement for Top Cleaner liquid between the commitment maker (PKK) and PT ARM.

The cleaning fluid has been procured for two years at the Attorney General's Office. This liquid is considered the factor that caused the fire to spread rapidly in the case of the AGO building some time ago.

"I have not seen the corruption. We'll just wait. Indeed, if there is a police investigator, the data will be submitted, so we will examine it," Ali said to reporters, Tuesday, October 27.

Ali explained that the cooperation between PPK and PT ARM was under the authority of the Junior Attorney General for Development (Jambin). Therefore, he said to confirm the Top Cleaner procurement there.

"I don't know. Not with me, the process is there. Just check, ask Jambin," he said.

Bareskrim Polri previously revealed that the Top Cleaner cleaning fluid used by the Attorney General's Office did not have a distribution permit. This is known from the results of the police investigation.

"After we examined this dust cleaner did not have a distribution permit, so investigators concluded that the procurement of floor cleaning equipment was not in accordance with the provisions," said the Director of the General Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Ferdy Sambo to reporters, Friday, October 23. .

According to him, the Attorney General's Office's (AGO) commitment maker (PPK) has been collaborating with PT ARM as the producer of Top Cleaner cleaning fluid since 2018.

The agreement to use the illegal cleaning fluid was allegedly due to its low price. In fact, the content in the cleaning fluid is also very dangerous.

"It should know (dangerous). That's why it shouldn't be used but it should be used, maybe it's cheap," he said.

In this building fire case, 8 people were named suspects. 5 of them are construction workers with the initials T, H, S, K, and IS. They were named suspects for violating the no smoking rule in the personnel bureau hall.

While the other 3 namely, UAM as the foreman, R who is the Director of PT ARM and the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Attorney General's Office, NH.

The determination of the suspect against UAM was reasoned because they did not supervise the five craftsmen while they were working. Meanwhile, R and NH were named suspects for making an agreement to use a dash cleaner cleaning fluid which is said to accelerate the combustion process.

The suspects were charged under Article 188 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code with the threat of 5 years in prison.
