Police Criminal Investigation Unit Seizes 2 DNA Pro Branch Offices In Bali

JAKARTA - The Police Criminal Investigation Unit continues to track the assets behind the DNA Pro trading robot case. Recently, two branches of an illegal trading robot company located in the Bali area were confiscated.

"Investigators from the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police have searched and confiscated evidence from the two central DNA Pro branch offices in Buleleng and Denpasar, Bali", said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, to reporters, Wednesday, June 15.

In addition, investigators also confiscated assets belonging to one of the suspects. The details are three Rolex watches, one TAG Heuer watch, two Vespas, one BMW car, and two land and building certificates in Bali.

Investigators immediately sealed the object of land and buildings. So, later it can be accounted for during the filing process as an asset suspected of being the result of a criminal act.

"Investigators have sealed it by installing a police line on two plots of land belonging to the suspect in Bali", he said.

In addition, in handling the trading robot case, Gatot said that he had examined dozens of witnesses. The majority of them are victims of these trading robots.

"So far, 80 witnesses have been examined and now they have been included in the case file", said Gatot.

In the DNA Pro case, 14 people were named as suspects. Most of the suspects have been arrested and three of them are still wanted.

The three fugitives include Daniel Zii, Ferawati alias Fei, and Devinata Gunawan.

In the case of the DNA Pro trading robot, 3,621 people became victims. The total loss reported reached IDR 551 billion.
