JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya had arrested thousands of people during a series of demonstrations against the Omnibus Law on the Job Creation Law which ended in chaos. More than half of the people arrested were students.
"So yesterday, there were about 2,667 people who were arrested yesterday, 70 percent of whom are students," Head of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Nana Sudjana, told reporters, Monday, October 26.
