Operation Patuh Jaya Focuses On Enforcement Of Rotators And Special RF Plates, Metro Police Chief: If It Repeats, We Just Take It Out

JAKARTA - The Metro Jaya Police Chief will take action against motorists who use rotators and special vehicle plates with RF codes that do not comply with the regulations.

The action was carried out during the Patuh Jaya Operation from June 13 to 26, 2022.

"The emphasis is on the use of a rotator and the use of special plates, there are no privileges for using a rotator and for using special plates," said Fadil Imran to reporters, Monday, June 13.

The two-star general also said that he had evaluated and ordered traffic officers to regulate the use of rotators and special plates.

In his order, traffic officers will check the license to use rotators and special plates on vehicles that were found during the Patuh Jaya Operation.

"If he uses a special plate, it must be checked whether he has the right or not," he said.

In fact, Fadil ordered his members to be firm in taking action against these violations. For example, revoking the license to use special plates.

According to him, referring to the rules on the use of plates with RF codes is only intended for certain officials. So, not just anyone can abuse it.

"If the violation is repeated and is considered to be of high severity, we will remove it, we are currently evaluating the matter. So there is no privilege for that, it is clear that it is only echelon one officials, ministers, and the director general," said Fadil.

For information, Operation Patuh Jaya will be held for two weeks or starting from June 13 to 26. In this operation there are 35 points that are the location of supervision and action.
