PTPP Provides Social Assistance To Affected By COVID-19 In Various Sectors

PTPP provides a variety of assistance to sectors affected by COVID-19.

JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), is back to distribute social assistance programs in the context of overcoming COVID-19. The assistance provided by PTPP on this occasion was assistance in the education and health sectors.

PTPP's Corporate Secretary, Yuyus Juarsa said, some time ago, PTPP had symbolically provided 5,000 cloth masks to the West Nusa Tenggara Province BUMN Disaster Task Force on Thursday, October 8. The cloth masks will be distributed to the districts of Central Lombok, East Lombok and Sumbawa.

Furthermore, PTPP together with several other BUMNs carried out the distribution of 45,000 free masks to the public in the DKI Jakarta area on Wednesday, October 14. The activity was carried out to support the New Habits Adaptation Socialization Program launched by the DKI Jakarta Regional BUMN National Disaster Task Force.

"On this occasion, the Company provided free masks to the people around the Pasar Rebo Flyover, East Jakarta," said Yuyus in a statement received, Saturday, October 24.

Meanwhile, PTPP has also provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assistance to the medical team at the Regional General Hospital Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek, Lampung on Friday 16 October. The PPE assistance provided consisted of 50 boxes of medical masks, 60 hazmat pieces, and 200 cloth masks specially given to the Medical Team at the Hospital.

Not only that, PTPP is still providing social assistance in the education sector, namely distribution of curriculum book packages. The assistance was provided as a form of PTPP's concern for the world of education in Indonesia, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, PTPP had distributed educational book packages in Depok, West Java. Currently, PTPP is still continuing to provide the package curriculum book assistance to schools in Bogor, West Java, namely MTS and MA Al Inayah Cihampar Bogor on Thursday, October 15.

The school received one package of books each. In one package of books provided by PTPP to junior high schools, it consists of 630 books for students in grades 7 to 9 consisting of various subjects. A total of 90 books are intended for teachers teaching in grades 7 to 9 consisting of various subjects.

As for the package given to high school level schools consisting of 648 books for students in grades 10 to 12 consisting of various subjects and as many as 135 books intended for teaching teachers in grades 10 to 12. The assistance will continue to be provided. and gradually distributed as many as 67 book packages throughout Indonesia.

Still in the education sector, PTPP provides social assistance in the form of teaching and learning support tools to the Salman Children's Home (RA) in Cilandak, South Jakarta. The assistance was handed over directly to RA management representatives on Thursday, October 22 last. The teaching and learning support tools consist of a trophy cabinet, a children's locker, a walkway beam, a sound system, an LCD / Focus, learning stationery for one year, RA Salman student uniforms, a laptop, a laminating machine, and a machine. paper shredder.

Yuyus said, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, his party as a state-owned company must continue to foster a spirit of cooperation and show social concern to help the surrounding community.
