Defense Minister Prabowo also emphasized that he believes that the world's great powers, namely China and the United States, will be wise for world peace because it is important for a country to have wise leaders in managing the country in facing the current world's geopolitical challenges.
“World War II gave birth to an independence movement against imperialism for hundreds of years. The experiences of our brothers in Indochina, the experiences of our brothers in the Philippines, in India, in many parts of Asia and the Pacific make us very, very aware of the need for wise and benevolent leadership," Prabowo said.
“We believe that the leaders of the great powers recognize the great responsibility on their shoulders. That they will hold their responsibilities with wisdom and benevolence," he continued.
