Give Tips For Female Cadre When Meeting People, Megawati: Speak With Heart

JAKARTA - Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri encouraged her party's female cadres to be strong and confident and able to talk to the people. He even gave tips for them to speak from the heart.

This was conveyed by Megawati when giving directions and opening the National Level Women's Cadre Education at the PDIP Party School, Lentengagung, Friday, June 10.

"You have to have the courage to express your opinion. You have to be able to talk to the people. It's really easy. This is what I taught you. So actually talking to the people is to speak with your heart. You also just had a headache. After seeing it, it was very easy," said Megawati when giving a briefing to cadres in secret.

PDIP female cadres, continued Megawati, should not be soft. Not only that, they have to contribute to other things besides household matters.

The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia also reminded his cadres to continue working. Women cadres have to come down and talk to the people.

"If it doesn't work, it won't work," he said.

After Megawati gave directions, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, who acted as moderator, reminded his cadres to carry out the advice that had been conveyed.

"Women, PDIP cadres to stand tall, full of confidence. Dare to uphold principles, as stated by Bung Karno through Sarinah's Book. That's why women cadres must understand Bung Karno's whole thought and then understand it in his mind , the inner nature," said Hasto.

Hasto also repeated Megawati's message reminding the importance of planting rice complementary foods that have been campaigned since March 2020.

"Thank you, Mrs. Megawati, for giving us one month to promote the politics of planting. Politics that touch people's lives with 10 complementary crops of rice," he concluded.
