MAMUJU - The government has established an emergency response status for an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 in Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi (Sulbar).

"The government has declared the Mamuju earthquake as an emergency response status from June 8, 2022 to June 14, 2022, or until the next week," said Mamuju Regent Sitti Sutinah Suhardi Duka, quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 9.

He said that with the status of the emergency response, the district government in Mamuju would immediately respond to the impact of the earthquake.
