Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Handed Over Aid To Cibuluh Bogor Batik Craftsmen

BOGOR - Vice President (Wapres) Ma'ruf Amin symbolically handed over assistance to the productive mustahik empowerment program as business capital for five batik craftsmen who are able to make distinctive and unique batik in Cibuluh Village, North Bogor District, from the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas).

At the location, the Vice President chose to walk about 100 meters while greeting residents in front of their respective homes to go to the location of the aid delivery tent. His arrival was welcomed by the residents of Cibuluh.

Arriving at the location, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin immediately greeted the five artisans who were symbolically selected from 40 other craftsmen who received Baznas assistance of Rp. 5 million as capital assistance.

The vice president rushed to provide these aids and gave a motivational welcome to the craftsmen.

In his remarks, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin motivated craftsmen to be able to make batik that is unique to Cibuluh with extensive marketing both nationally and internationally.

He requested that Baznas continue to guide the Cibuluh Batik craftsmen to cultivate batik creations and innovations.

"A few days ago, I received a Muslim designer who could exhibit (batik) in America, Korea, in Japan, everywhere. I hope that later Cibuluh products will be exported abroad. Because there must be creations and innovations. Now there are several One of the places for promotions is in Sarinah, including Batik Cibuluh," said the Vice President as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 8.

The vice president then looked at the batik works of the artisans on display in the tent. He also took some of the batik he bought.

Greeted boisterously from behind the tent, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin again greeted the residents while distributing bags filled with prayer mats. The distribution of the prayer continues until the return journey.

The Vice President's visit to Kampung Batik Cibuluh ended after he last greeted residents on the side of the highway at 15.59 WIB and then his car drove along with the residents' waving hands.
