JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya stated that Khilafatul Muslimin has a website and bulletin that are used as media to spread ideologies that are contrary to Pancasila. Especially for the newsletter, it is known that 80 editions have been issued.

"We are analyzing the bulletins, which until now 80 editions appear every month, there are printings from the flyer, there is a website," said Director of the General Criminal Investigation Kombes Hengki Haryadi to reporters, Tuesday, June 7.

The contents of the bulletin and website are considered to be contrary to Pancasila based on the results of a joint analysis with several experts. Starting from Islamic ideological literacy experts, linguists, criminal experts, psychologists.

However, until now development will be carried out regarding the contents of the content. That way, the crime of spreading fake news will be more open.

"We will continue to develop it because of the continuous nature of our investigation," said Hengki.

On the other hand, Hengki stated that the Khilafatul Muslimin was a large group. From the results of the temporary investigation, the group led by Abdul Qadir Baraja has spread to several areas.

"This organization is quite large, there are 23 regional offices, there are 23 regions, Sumatra, Java, including the eastern region. This means that this cannot be considered simple," said Hengki.

Abdul Qadir Baraja is the supreme leader of the Khilafatul Muslimin group. This group became a concern because it had gone viral with the action of a motorbike convoy carrying posters in the Cawang area, East Jakarta, and Brebes, Central Java.

The contents of the poster are said to contain a narrative that echoes hatred against the legitimate government.

In addition, Abdul Qadir Baraja is also known to be a convict of terrorism cases. This is because he is involved with the Indonesian Islamic State (NII) terrorist group.
