Two Teenagers On A Motorbike Died After Falling And Being Hit By A Trailer Truck, The Victim's Colleague Ran Away

JAKARTA - Two people are reported to have died after being involved in a motorcycle accident with a trailer truck on Jalan Raya Tugu, Koja, North Jakarta, Monday, June 6, at around 19.30 WIB.

North Jakarta Traffic Head Office, AKP Edy Wibowo explained, the two victims with the initials FS and MR were initially ridden with a Honda Vario motorcycle with number B-4573-TIT driven by a colleague of the victim.

"The two passengers on the Honda Vario B-4573-TIT motorcycle died at the TKP," said Edy when confirmed, Tuesday, June 7.

Edy said that the incident began when the motorcycle driven by a man whose identity is not yet known was riding with FS and RR. The three of them on one motorbike drove from east to west.

However, continued Edy, at the scene of the incident their motorbike slipped and fell. Driver bounced to the right while FS and RR to the left. Just then, a trailer truck with the number B-9651-TD, driven by MUZ, arrived.

"(Finally the FS and RR) were run over by the right rear tire of the trailer. FS and RR died on the spot, the motorcycle was also damaged," explained Edy.

Knowing that his two friends had died, the unidentified motorcyclist left two of his colleagues behind.

"Shortly after the incident, the driver, whose identity is unknown, left the location, fled," he said.

FS and RR have been evacuated to the nearest hospital. Police are still looking for the victim's colleague who fled.
