Getting Easier And Faster, BPJAMSOSTEK North Sulawesi Asks Workers Not To Use Brokers To Disburse JHT

JAKARTA - Head of the North Sulawesi Employment Social Security Administering Agency (BPJAMSOSTEK) Branch, Sunardy Syahid, asked workers not to use the services of brokers to file Old Age Security (JHT) claims.

"Currently, claiming JHT funds is very easy through the JMo (Jamsostek Mobile) application and lapak cool," said Sunardy in Manado, Antara, Friday, June 3.

Sunardy said that his party did not want participants to be harmed if they used the services of brokers, because they asked for a compensation of 25 percent to 50 percent of the funds to be disbursed.

"We hope that participants who will claim JHT immediately download the JMo and lapakasik applications or come to the BPJAMSOSTEK office," he said.

Currently BPJAMSOSTEK only provides advice as well as education and outreach to participants so as not to use the services of brokers. In the future, his party will use the authorities to impose sanctions on the brokers.

Currently, he said, many brokers offer JHT disbursement services through social media accounts.

BPJAMSOSTEK will continue to provide excellent service to participants, and strive to provide protection for non-wage workers (BPU) and wage recipients (PU).
