Tomorrow, United Indonesia Coalition Political Parties Sign MoU

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party, PAN and PPP will inaugurate the United Indonesia Coalition by signing a cooperation agreement on Saturday, June 4.

Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Golkar Party DPP, Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tandjung, said the three parties would hold a meeting in the Senayan area, Jakarta, in the context of friendship.

However, Doli acknowledged that there were several important agendas to be discussed at the meeting, one of which was related to the inauguration of KIB.

"God willing, on the 4th tomorrow we will hold a halal-bihalal event as well as a national gathering and the signing of a kind of MoU between these three parties," said Doli, Friday, June 3.

In addition to signing the MoU, Doli said, the United Indonesia Coalition will also prepare a number of agendas and programs that will be carried out together in the future.

The deputy chairman of Commission II of the DPR also said that there would be an agenda regarding the selection of presidential and vice presidential candidates to be carried in the 2024 presidential election.

"There, the agendas have been discussed, including the agenda when discussing the presidential and vice presidential candidates," he said.

Previously, the United Development Party (PPP) was reluctant to mention information regarding the coalition declaration on June 4.
