JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Metro Police's Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) managed to apprehend AR (25) one of the perpetrators of motorcycle theft on Tuesday, May 31.
AR's motorcycle theft was caught on CCTV cameras and went viral on social media. The incident took place in the Kebon Blank area, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, last Monday, May 23.

"We managed to catch one perpetrator who used to steal motorbikes. He had the initials AR (25)," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasatreskrim) AKBP Gunarto when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, May 31.
Meanwhile, a woman who is the perpetrator is still being chased by the police. The identity of the woman is known.
"One more perpetrator with the initials NO (23), a female friend of the perpetrator. We are still pursuing it," he said.
According to the suspect AR's confession to the police, he and NO stole a motorbike in Kebon Blank, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
"The suspect AR was arrested at his home, Jalan Kedondong, RT 13/06, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. Their mode, AR and NK, went around looking for targets on motorbikes," he said.
