JAKARTA - The investigating team from the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit visited the house of Ahmad Yani, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE). We are conducting an investigation regarding the presence of anarchist on 8 (October)," said the Head of Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, to reporters, Tuesday, October 20.
Argo emphasized that the arrival of investigators was not meant to arrest him. Instead, he conveyed an invitation to the examination which will take place today.
"So the person concerned will provide a statement today, we are now waiting," he said.
However, Argo did not explain the reasons for Ahmad Yani's examination, including whether or not there was a connection with the US suspect who was previously arrested.
