"The youth group consisted of about 40 people riding motorbikes, they were twirling sharp weapons such as swords, samurai, machetes, sickles, and iron into the air from the motorbikes," he said.

On that basis, he continued, his party immediately pursued and searched the area around Pasar Tengah, Ramayana, Chandra Karang, Saburai, Gedung Wanita, Palapa, and Kaliawi.

He said that the group of youths who were troubling road users were finally dispersed on Jalan M Nur, to be precise at the Mandala Housing Climb where several people from the group had fallen from motorbikes.

"In the pursuit and sweeping of a group of youths carrying sharp weapons, we managed to secure three people and a number of evidences, while the other group fled in the hills and alleys of residents' houses," he said.
