JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Airlangga Hartarto expressed his deep condolences for the death of Fahmi Idris.

Airlangga recalled the figure of Fahmi Idris as a hard worker who easily got along with all walks of life.

"I remember that the late Prof. Fahmi Idris was an activist, hard worker, easy to get along with various walks of life from different groups and ages," said Airlangga when giving testimony on the death of Fahmi Idris in Jakarta, Sunday 22 May.

Fahmi Idris is known to have died at Medistra Hospital at 10.00 WIB. The news was conveyed by the son of the late Fahira Idris.

The body is buried at the funeral home on Jalan Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta.

The body of Fahmi Idris is planned to be buried at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU).

The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs added that the figure of Fahmi Idris was a role model for his struggle as a junior in the Golkar Party.
