Calya Oleng's Car Collides With A Truck On The Kemranjen-Sumpiu Highway Banyumas, 1 Killed And 5 Others Injured

BANYUMAS - One person died in a series of accidents involving two cars and a truck on the southern route of Central Java.

Kasatlantas Banyumas Polresta Kompol Arie Prayitno said the accident occurred this morning on the Kemranjen-Sumpiuh Highway, Alasmalang Village, Kemranjen District, Banyumas Regency.

"This route is part of the South Java Central Line," he said in Purwokerto Banyumas, Antara, Friday, May 20.

The incident began when Calya's car with plate number AB-1715-IG driven by FC (24), a resident of Kebumen Regency, Central Java, was traveling at a moderate speed from west to east.

However, when he arrived to the west of the Tipar Bridge, Alasmalang Village, the Calya car swerved to the right at the same time as the truck with plate number AB-8519-ME driven by SL (51), a resident of Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, from the opposite direction.

Because the distance between the two vehicles is close, accidents cannot be avoided. In fact, Avega's car with plate number B-2817-FVG driven by YP (26), an East Jakarta resident, who came from the west also hit Calya's car because the distance was very close.

"As a result of the incident, one passenger in Calya's car with the initials YM (53), a resident of Kebumen, died at the hospital, while the driver of Calya and four other passengers were injured. Meanwhile, the truck driver and Avega were not injured, said Kompol. Arie.
