BANTEN - The Banten Terrorism Prevention Coordination Forum (FKPT) held a Training of Trainers attended by around 100 participants who are expected to produce trainers (teachers) and pioneers of religious, social, and cultural moderation.
From the special training for trainers, according to the Chair of the Banten FKPT KH Amas Tadjudin, participants are expected to be able to present interesting material in terms of religious moderation in the fields of religion, social, and culture.
"The activity with the theme "Religious Moderation as a Strategy to Prevent Terrorism" was attended by 100 participants from religious circles and social organizations (ormas) including Muhammadiyah, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Mathla'ul Anwar (MA), religious teachers, leaders of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), and the majlis taklim," he explained in Banten, Antara, Thursday, May 19.
Amas also conveyed that the activity was in collaboration with BNPT as a strategic partner of FKPT in the region in preventing terrorism.
Meanwhile, BNPT's Director of Prevention Brigadier General Ahmad Nurwakhid said that FKPT's activities in organizing Training of Trainers were useful for preventing terrorism and radicalism. The activity is not only in Banten Province but in 34 provinces in Indonesia.
