Robber Who Tied Up Alfamart Employee And Stole Rp17 Million In Cash Arrested Not Far From The Crime Scene

JAKARTA - The Senen Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to arrest the perpetrators of the Alfamart robbery located on Jalan Letjen Suprapto IV, Bungur Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta. The perpetrator was arrested as a result of a series of investigations conducted by the police.

"Thank God the perpetrator has been arrested. The perpetrator has the initials R," said Senen Police Chief Commissioner Ari Susanto when confirmed, Wednesday, May 18, evening.

The arrest of the perpetrators is not far from the scene where the Alfamart was robbed.

"The perpetrator was arrested in the Kenari area, Senen District," he said.

Currently the police are still developing the case.

"We are developing the perpetrators," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the robbery took place at a mini market located on Jalan Letjen Suprapto IV, Bungur Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta.

The perpetrator threatened two Alfamart employees with sharp weapons. Not only that, the perpetrators tied up two female employees with the initials P and NNW, then stole Rp17 million in money.

Senen Police Chief Kompol Ari Susanto said the incident occurred on Wednesday May 4 at 21:22 WIB. At that time, two minimarket guards were on duty.

Suddenly the perpetrator came when Alfamart was quiet and was about to close.

"Tied up, not injured. Millions of cashier's money was taken," said Kompol Ari to reporters, Tuesday, May 17.

When entering the mini market, the perpetrator closed the rolling door and pointed a sharp weapon at the victim. The perpetrator asked for the money that was in the safe.

"The perpetrator was wearing a helmet alone. Before running away, the perpetrator told him that he had a grudge against this type of shop, and then tied up the two shopkeepers," he said.
