TANGSEL - The reckless action of four boys blocking the speed of a truck stole the attention of netizens. Because, the dangerous action was threatening the lives of the four boys.

In a video circulating on social media, four children are said to have intercepted a truck in the Bintaro area, bordering South Jakarta and South Tangerang.

South Tangerang Police Traffic Head, AKP Dicky Priambudi Sutarman when contacted, admitted that he did not know the truth of the dangerous action. However, he said he would check the veracity of the video.

"We'll check later," said Dicky when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, May 17.

Dicky appealed to the public, especially children, not to create content that could harm the creators themselves. The reason is, in addition to endangering passing users, the action will have an impact on themselves.

"Later we will carry out patrols for prevention efforts. We urge the public not to create content that can endanger lives and endanger other motorized vehicle drivers on the highway, such as content to stop buses and trucks. Like this video, because there is a high potential for accidents that result in fatal," explained Dicky.

Meanwhile, the Head of Laka Traffic Unit of the South Tangerang Police, Iptu Nanda Setya, admitted that he did not know the truth of the video.

However, if the incident did happen, he asked the parents to keep an eye on their children to prevent unwanted things from happening.

"Just an appeal, because the person in the video is still a minor or is a child, it is emphasized to parents to pay more attention to the activities of their sons and daughters," he said.

"And also the social environment, don't get involved in doing dangerous actions like the one in the video. Because it is very dangerous for the safety of yourself and other road users.

Seen on social media, the action of four boys approached a passing truck. The four children immediately jumped up, approached and blocked him from the front of the car. After the truck stopped, the four boys fled.

In the post, it is said that the dangerous action occurred at the Bintaro Swimming Pool Flyover round, South Tangerang, Monday, May 16.
