Indo Barometer Calls Golkar, PPP, And PAN Coalition Perfect

JAKARTA – Political observer and founder of the Indo Barometer survey institute, Muhammad Qodari, views the Tiga Bersatu coalition as the most concrete and tangible form of coalition. The coalition announced on Thursday 12 May in Jakarta by the Golkar Party, PAN and PPP is considered a perfect composition.

"In this coalition there is a nationalist party, namely Golkar, then a traditional Islam-based party, namely PPP and modernist Islam, namely PAN," Qodari told the media, Saturday, May 14. The three parties have met the minimum requirements for candidacy for the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Where the three parties combined have the power of 148 seats in the DPR RI, far exceeding the Presidential Threshold which is only 115 seats. “I think this is very perfect. The homework for the Tiga Bersatu coalition is just to find the figures for the presidential and vice presidential candidates,” said Qodari. He also sees this coalition as a very appropriate initiative. Especially when talking about coalitions leading to the 2024 presidential election. "If we look at the 2024 presidential election, we are no longer talking about individual popularity but what is more important is the requirements for submission from political parties," said Qodari. but if you don't have political support it will be useless. "So this is a perfect coalition that they have formed," added Qodari. “Of the three party chiefs, two of them are ministers. They do this in the context of the party. This is not an obstacle, in fact it can actually help to concentrate more, because the coalition's big homework has been completed from now on,” said Qodari.
