JAKARTA - Polda Mertro Jaya claims the mass action against the Job Creation Law has been handled properly. In fact, conditions in Jakarta are currently conducive.

"Jakarta is conducive and safe, Alhamdulillah," said Head of Public Relations at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Tuesday, October 13.

However, a number of personnel were still on alert. They remain vigilant in anticipation of further riots.

"Most of them have returned. We just used to patrol," he said.

Regardless of the condition of the capital city, said Yusri, there were 561 rioters who had spoiled them. However, it is possible that the number will continue to grow.

"While we are still data, the possibility will continue to grow," he said.

Of the hundreds of rioters who were secured, Nana continued, most of them were students. They are said to have damaged several public facilities.
