The victim is identified as Bayu Aditya (21), a resident of Jaya Mekar Cibuga, Sumedang Regency. Since it was reported missing and drowned in the Sayang Heulang Waterfall, Mancagahar Village, Pameungpeuk District, Garut, last Thursday, the Sar Team immediately moved to carry out a search operation.

The search process, he said, was carried out by dividing groups to search around the location of the missing victims and along the seas of the Garut waters, namely Santolo Beach to Rancabuaya Beach.

"A week after the drowning victim in the Sayang Heulang Waterfall was not found, according to the SAR operation plan, the search results were still nil," he said.

He conveyed that based on the rules and the results of the coordination of the joint SAR team and the families of the victims, they decided to stop the search process, and would continue if there were signs on the ground.
