JAKARTA - After the long Eid al-Fitr holiday, traffic flow on a number of roads in Jakarta returned to being congested, Monday (9/5). In order to reduce the density, the officers implemented a contra flow system on the toll road from Bekasi to Jakarta. Precisely at kilometer 1 of the inner city toll road, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. This is done in order to break down the density of traffic flows on the toll road. The volume of vehicles on inner-city toll roads has increased again because workers have started their activities after the long holiday. Thousands of four-wheeled vehicles were seen on the toll road heading to the office center in the capital city. Vehicles are only capable of traveling at a speed of about fifteen to twenty kilometers per hour. Not infrequently the speed of the vehicle stopped. A number of homecoming cars that have just arrived in Jakarta are also still seen carrying excess loads placed on top of the car. Watch the video below.
