North Kalimantan Police Asks National Police Headquarters For Assistance To Check Brigadier HSB's Container Regarding Smuggling

TARAKAN - The Regional Police of North Kalimantan requested the assistance of the Directorate IV of the Narcotics Investigation of the National Police Headquarters to assist in the inspection of containers belonging to a member of the police, Brigadier HSB.

The team formed by the North Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya formed a special team from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, Bulungan Police, and Tarakan Police.

Currently checking containers using two K units. -9 from the East Kalimantan Police and a Customs and Excise K-9 unit, at Malundung Harbor, Tarakan, to look for suspicions that there were drugs in 17 containers containing used clothes.

"That's why we intensify to prove the allegation. The result, we haven't found it", said Hendy as quoted by Antara.

The container was detained on suspicion of a clothing business case illegal former being handled by North Kalimantan Police, allegedly involving HSB.

An investigation was carried out to prove indications of the presence of drugs in the container based on the evidence obtained by the team.

In addition, the special team of Polda North Kalimantan managed to secure nine speedboats belonging to HSB who were arrested for possession of a gold mine The wild is located in Sekatak Buji Village, Bulungan Regency.

Currently, there are five suspects who have been detained at the Bulungan Police, namely HSB, MU, BS, MI, and M while one person is still at large.

They are charged with Article 112 Junto Article 51 paragraph (2) UURI Number 7 of 2014 concerning Trade as amended in UURI number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation Article 51 paragraph (2) Page 287.

As well as Junto Article 2 paragraph (3) Letter d Regulation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 of 2021 concerning Goods Prohibited Export of Goods Prohibited from Importing and Article 10 of Law RI No. 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering (TPPU).

The North Kalimantan Regional Police also coordinated with the Deputy for the Eradication of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the alleged flow of funds to several parties from HSB.
