Car Hit By Tree In West Pasaman, One Person Dies

WEST PASAMAN - An Isuzu car with license plate number BA 7054 SU was hit by a mahogany tree on the Jorong Batang Tipo public road, Nagari Lingkung Aur, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra. One passenger died.

Pasaman Barat Police Traffic Head AKP Yuliadi said the accident occurred when the car was passing through a road with mahogany trees.

According to him, the incident occurred when the car drove by Aidil Fajar (25) carrying passengers Dilan Alfarizi (2) and Yepno Riski (30) came from the Simpang Tiga direction, Luhak Nan Duo sub-district towards the Simpang Empat.

Arrived at the scene of the incident suddenly hit by a fallen tree trunk. As a result, the driver suffered injuries and one passenger died at the hospital, while the vehicle was severely damaged.

At the time of the incident, the driver and passenger evacuation was carried out by a joint team of the West Pasaman Trafic Unit Police, Basarnas, PMI, BPBD, TNI, firefighters, the community and others.

"The passenger on behalf of Dilan Alfarizi died at the Regional General Hospital with injuries to several parts of his body, and was unconscious after the incident", he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, May 6.

Then the car driver Aidil Fajar suffered abrasions on his right hand and chest pain and Yepno Riski suffered open fractures on the bridge of his nose and blisters on his legs.

"Currently the victim is receiving treatment at the West Pasaman Hospital in Jambak", he said.

While the condition of the car was damaged, the windshield was broken, the headlights were broken and the front part was broken.
