DKI Residents Who Pray Id At JIS Don't Go Straight Home, They Can Walk Around In The Stadium

JAKARTA - Residents who have finished performing Eid prayers today, Tuesday, May 2 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) do not need to rush back to their homes. They were allowed to see the inside of the newly completed stadium.

DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said people who had just finished the Eid prayers could first enter the stadium. They were given time to take a closer look at JIS, in fact, given time to tour around.

"After the Eid prayer series is over, residents who are interested in seeing the inside of the stadium will be allowed to enter and tour the inside of the stadium before they go home," Anies told reporters quoted on Tuesday, May 2.

Convinced that the enthusiasm of the community will be high, Anies said, they will be allowed to enter alternately so that there is no pressure and can be more orderly.

In addition, later there will also be a guide who guides the public inside the international standard stadium. Then, the committee also provides a route within JIS so that residents are comfortable walking around and not walking too far to the vehicle parking area.

"There is no special limit (the number of residents who enter, ed), but what is clear is that the entry is of course gradual," he said.

"So, those who want to see the inside of the stadium after the Eid prayer can walk (around the stadium, ed), there is a route, then exit directly to the parking lot," added Anies.

Furthermore, Anies said that the JIS construction can be said to have been completed. However, it still has to be finalized before it will be officially used.

"The building has been (completed, ed) but there is still a final check that must be done between Jakpro as the project manager and the contractor as the executor," he said.

As previously reported, JIS is located in Sunter, North Jakarta and is one of the locations for Eid prayers for Jakarta residents. The activity will be carried out at 07.00 WIB.

Anies himself is certain to join the Eid prayer with Jakarta residents at JIS. He confirmed that he would be there since morning.
