One Way Scheme: Homecoming From Bandung To Jakarta Can Only Pass Tomorrow, 10 AM

JAKARTA - The National Police said that travelers or vehicles from Bandung heading west or Jakarta can only pass the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) toll road on Saturday, April 30, at 10.00 WIB.

The reason is that at that time the One Way scheme that was implemented from the KM 47 Japek toll road to the KM 414 Toll Gate (GT) would end.

"People who will go west can use the toll road after 08.00 WIB plus 2 hours (for normalization), at around 10.00 WIB," said Head of the Operations Section of the National Police Korlantas Kombes Eddy Djunaedi in his statement, Friday, April 29.

Therefore, people from Bandung were asked to patiently wait. Because, currently the number of travelers heading east is predicted to increase.

So, the Police prioritize it first. Otherwise, long traffic jams will occur.

"The consideration is the increasing flow from Jakarta and the side flow from West Java to Jakarta the situation is sloping," said Eddy.

The One Way or one-way traffic flow scheme is again being implemented from the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) toll road section KM 47 to the Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) KM 414. This scheme will begin to be implemented at 23.00 WIB.

"According to the situation assessment, Korlantas will apply One Way from KM 47 to KM 414," said Dirgakum for the Traffic Police, Brigadier General Pol Aan Surhanan.

That way, the contraflow scheme that was previously implemented in KM 44 to KM 70 will automatically change.

The reason behind the change in the traffic flow scheme is because there will be an increase in the number of vehicles from Jakarta to the east.
