Implementation Of The Jakarta-Cikampek One Way Scheme Extended, Traffic Still Congested

JAKARTA - The one-way or one-way scheme on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road will be extended. The reason, the flow of vehicle traffic is still quite high.

"It has been reported that the one-way route, which was originally scheduled to end at 24.00 WIB, is currently being extended," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo in a video statement, Friday, April 29.

According to Sambodo, based on observations up to 00:45 WIB, the number of vehicles heading to Cikampek from Jakarta is still quite large.

So, it is feared that there will be vehicle congestion if the one way scheme is closed.

However, it has not been explained in detail how long the one-way scheme will be implemented.

"Time shows at 00:45 one way is still going on considering the heavy volume of vehicles from Jakarta to Cikampek," said Sambodo.

For information, the even-odd and one-way schemes on toll roads have been implemented. This scheme starts to be implemented from 17.00 to 24.00 WIB.
