Deputy Regent Of Bogor Asks Bogor Regency Government ASN To Not Bribe BPK Like Ade Yasin

JAKARTA - The Deputy Regent of Bogor, Iwan Setiawan, reminded his subordinates within the Bogor Regency Government, West Java, not to bribe officers from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

"Last year there was a BPK (inspection) but it never happened (case). Maybe there are things that we have to correct. I don't want to have an IMB (disaster initiative) next year," said Iwan when met at the Regency Government Complex. Bogor in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, Thursday 28 April.

He asked the ranks of the Bogor Regency Government to submit financial reports as they are to the BPK, with correct and accurate recording results. " he said.

He said that in the future the Bogor Regency Government must be ready to coordinate with the BPK in making good financial reports in order to get the Unqualified title.

"The point is that we are ready to coordinate, ready to cooperate if BPK friends lack data, we have made it close to all SKPD, we must not hinder and must not hinder when the BPK requests data, I have instructed," he said, quoted from Antara.

Previously, the Regent of Bogor, Ade Munawaroh Yasin (AY), admitted that he was forced to take responsibility for the actions of his subordinates regarding the alleged bribery in the management of the Bogor Regency Government's financial statements for the 2021 Fiscal Year.

"Yes, I was forced to take responsibility for the actions of my subordinates. As a leader I must be ready to take responsibility," he said, at the KPK Building, Jakarta, Thursday morning, before entering the detention car.

He admitted that he never ordered his subordinates to bribe the West Java Representative BPK Examining Team.

"It was an initiative from them, so this is called an IMB, yes, an initiative to bring disaster," he said.

Ade Yasin's brother, Rachmat Yasin, was also arrested by the KPK for a corruption case, in the form of a bribe of IDR 4.5 billion in exchanging forest areas for PT Bukit Jonggol Asri. Rachmat was arrested by the KPK on the evening of May 7, 2014, and he has been sentenced to imprisonment for more than five years.

Ade Yasin gave the bribe because he wanted Bogor Regency to win the WTP title for the 2021 Fiscal Year from the West Java representative BPK.

As a result of his actions, Ade Yasin was detained at the Polda Metro Jaya detention center. Meanwhile, the other suspects are being held in a number of different detention centers, such as the KPK Rutan in Lot C1, the KPK Rutan in the KPK Merah Putih building, and the KPK Detention Center at the Jaya Guntur Pomdam.
