JAKARTA - The management of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, has re-opened the tourist spot from April 30 to May 8, 2022, although some parts are still being renovated.

TMII Executive Director I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana said the opening was to welcome the Eid 1443 Hijri holiday.

Sedana said TMII was previously closed on 11-29 April 2022 for renovations.

"So there are approximately 11 rides that we have opened in order to welcome the Eid holiday starting from April 30 to May 8, 2022," said I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana, quoted by Antara, Thursday, April 28.

Sedana said the rides opened at TMII include the Bird Park, Fresh Water World, Komodo Museum, SkyWorld, Regional Pavilion, Legend Park, and the Children's Palace.

"Our Children's Palace is open because it has been closed for a year, we plan to reopen it," said Sedana.

Sedana said that the visitor capacity is also limited to only 25 percent or around 15 thousand people because it is still in the renovation stage.

"The operating hours are from 06.00 WIB to 17.00 WIB," said Sedana.

He said visitors can enter through Doors 3 and 4 because TMII's main access at Gate 1 is still under renovation.

"Door 1 is closed because it is still under repair," said Sedana.
