Tangerang Regency Government Allows People To Pray Eid, But With Conditions

TANGERANG - The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) allows its people to carry out Eid prayers on Eid Al-Fitr 1443. However, on condition that they comply with health protocols.

"Eid prayers are allowed with a health protocol," said Tangerang Regent Zaki Iskandar to reporters, Tuesday, April 26.

In addition, Zaki asked the mosque committee to report to their respective sub-districts. The goal, so that it can help to provide medical equipment in the place of worship.

"What is the goal, we will help through the sub-district, procure masks, hand sanitizers, maybe help with disinfectant first so that the Eid prayer is safe and healthy," he said.

On that occasion, Zaki said that his party had coordinated with the police to establish a health post. In order to provide services for the homecomers of its citizens.

"So every post will be accompanied by a health team. Maybe there are some, such as in the rest area, we will hold a vaccine booth," he said.
