The DKI Provincial Government's Free Homecoming Quota Is Full, Transportation Agency Says There's Still A Chance Of Remaining Seats

JAKARTA - The free homecoming quota held by the DKI Provincial Government is currently full. This can be seen on the website www.mudikfreedkijakarta.id. Of the 11,680 bus seats for the homecoming flow provided, now there are 0 units left.

Head of the Road Transportation Division of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service (Dishub) Yayat Sudrajat said that currently residents are no longer registering for free homecoming.

However, Yayat said there is still a chance that the free homecoming quota will be left again. This is because the DKI Transportation Agency is currently verifying the data for homecoming participants and there is a possibility that participants will fill in the data multiple times.

"We are still verifying, we are afraid that there will be a double number of incidents. For example, the father registers, the child also registers. Therefore, we are still verifying, while there is still time," Yayat said when contacted, Friday, April 22.

Yayat said, double filling in participant data could happen because one person could fill in the data for one family who was going home. In addition, the conditions for registration via the website often have errors, so that registration is carried out many times.

Later, after verification, Yayat said the DKI Provincial Government would again announce if the free homecoming quota was again available. However, the quota that was originally provided will not be added.

"Later, if there is a double, there is still time to announce to the public that the quota is still available," he said.

For information, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is holding a free homecoming program this year. The DKI Provincial Government has prepared a quota of 19,680 free homecoming participants, with details of 11,480 going home and 8,000 going back.

The DKI Provincial Government provides 17 destination locations spread to Central Java, East Java, Lampung and Palembang with the departure of passenger buses from the Pulogebang terminal and the departure of motorbike trucks from the Pulogadung Terminal.

Viewed on the dkijakarta Instagram account, this free homecoming is prioritized for residents who have an ID card domiciled in DKI Jakarta, residents who have received the third dose of vaccine (booster), and residents who travel to and from DKI Jakarta.
