JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force, Prof. Wiku Adisasmito, revealed that there are at least four aspects of community activities regulated by the government regarding the 2022 Eid homecoming.

Wiku conveyed that the regulation was not only for domestic travelers but also for those who entered and left the country during the Lebaran 2022 homecoming moment.

"This is so that the community remains safe from COVID-19 transmission amid the potential for increased activity and the trend of homecoming mobility," said Wiku in a written statement, Wednesday, April 20.

As for the aspect that Wiku refers to, namely, first, it is mandatory to fulfill the vaccination requirements with the condition that it is not required to show the results of the COVID-19 test if the individual has been boosted or at a booster dose and will be obliged to show the test results if they have not.

In addition, according to Antara's report, people who have been vaccinated twice are required to show the results of a 1x24 hour antigen test or 3x24 hour PCR before departure. For those who have just been vaccinated once, they must show the results of the PCR test 3X24 hours before departure.

Especially for people who have certain health reasons or comorbidities that cannot be vaccinated, said Wiku, they must include a negative PCR test result 3X24 hours before departure with a certificate from the hospital that cannot be vaccinated.

"Specifically, children aged 6-17 years can be free from mandatory testing if they have been vaccinated with a second dose. Meanwhile, for children under 6 years of age, there is no testing policy provided that the travel companion has met the travel requirements according to the provisions," he said.

The government also regulates conditions for overseas arrivals to anticipate case imports amid the potential increase in the arrival of Indonesian migrant workers.

According to Wiku, Overseas Travelers (PPLN) are required to download PeduliLindung and fill in basic data. Regarding the pre-departure test, travelers are required to bring a negative result of the PCR test 2x24 hours before departure or the antigen test 1x24 hours specifically for PPLN from Singapore in the Riau Islands Province.

"The entry test is mandatory for PPLN who are suspected of having COVID-19 or who show symptoms similar to COVID-19 or body temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius, as well as people who are classified as post-covid recovery," he said.

The obligation to quarantine for 5x24 hours centrally and exit test is required for adult PPLNs who have just received the first dose at least 14 days before departure or not at all and PPLNs under the age of 18 who are accompanied.
