Indonesia's Debt Reaches IDR 7,000 Trillion, Wants To Explain Whether The State Can Pay, Said Didu In Fact Healed

JAKARTA - Indonesia's government debt increased significantly to Rp 7,014.58 trillion or equivalent to 40.17 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). This figure is based on data from the Ministry of Finance at the end of February 2022.

Regarding government debt to foreigners, there was a lot of discussion after Jusuf Kalla (JK) revealed the main criteria for a candidate to replace President Jokowi. JKA assesses that this figure must be able to pay off Indonesia's debt which continues to soar.

Former Secretary to the Minister of SOEs Muhammad Said Didu then wanted to explain whether the Indonesian government could pay the debt, which only had an interest rate of Rp. 400 trillion.

Said Didu was disappointed with netizens who cursed him. Whereas what he discussed so that Indonesia could be freed from debt bondage.

According to Said Didu, the discussion was positive on the basis of love for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). He assumed that netizens who did not agree with the discussion did not have an attitude of nationalism.
