Dozens Of Bottles Of Balinese Wine Confiscated By The Bima Police Cobra Team From Housewives

JAKARTA - The Bima City Police Cobra Bravo Team, West Nusa Tenggara, confiscated dozens of bottles containing Balinese wine. Worse, dozens of bottles of Balinese wine were confiscated from a housewife.

The Head of Drug Investigation at the Bima City Police, Adjunct Commissioner of Police Tamrin, said that his party had confiscated the liquor from a housewife with the initials SD (43).

"This type of Balinese wine was bought directly from Bali. The goods were sent using land transportation services, night buses," said Tamrin, Wednesday, April 13, quoted from Antara.

The police confiscated evidence from the elementary school's house in Sumbawa Village, Tanjung Village, West Rasanae District, Bima City, on Tuesday (12/4) night.

The seizure of evidence of the Bali Arak type of alcohol was under the command of Adjunct Inspector of Police Dua Awaluddin Syah Putra.

The confiscated evidence of Balinese Arak type alcohol, Tamrin explained, amounted to 54 bottles of medium-sized mineral water.

"Currently the evidence has been stored in the warehouse of the Bima City Police Narcotics Unit. In due course it will be destroyed," he said.

This activity of confiscation of liquor is one of the police's efforts to maintain security and public order in the midst of the atmosphere of Ramadan.

This activity also refers to police operations with a thick code (community disease) which will be held simultaneously throughout the NTB Province until April 15, 2022.
