DENPASAR - Students who are members of Cipayung Plus in Bali X Students, held a peaceful demonstration protesting government policies that were considered not in favor of the community.

From the assembly point of the Bajra Sandi Monument parking lot, Denpasar, students moved to the DPRD and the Bali governor's office. The demonstration was guarded by a joint team including pecalang.

Field Action Coordinator (Korlap) Arya Gangga said that one of the voices voiced by students was a protest about the increase in the price of pertamax.

"We feel and see and we have a study related to BBM. First, Pertamax goes up and second, Pertalite is scarce. We think it is a burden and anxiety for the community. We have also surveyed with our members to buy fried foods, there are always complaints from the community," said him, Wednesday, April 13.

Students hope that the demands of the protesters will be forwarded by the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, to the central government. If not, a demo will be held again.

"We hope that the governor can hear and bring our aspirations to the center and can also restore tourism in Bali. This is volume one, hopefully if there is good faith with the governor to guard our aspirations, and (we) will be humble and also guard," said Arya .
