No Demonstration In Bangka Belitung Islands On April 11

PANGKALPINANG - The Regional Police (Polda) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province said there were no mass actions from elements of students and other organizations in their jurisdiction.

The Head of Public Relations of the Babel Islands Police, Commissioner of Police Maladi, said that so far there have been no reports of demonstrations in his area.

"So far, we have not received any reports of student demonstrations," said Maladi, in Pangkalpinang, Riau Islands, Monday, April 11.

He emphasized that there were no student demonstrations throughout Indonesia on Monday, April 11 in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. However, they are still on standby to keep the situation conducive.

"Currently, Babylon's security conditions are conducive, safe and orderly," he said, according to Antara.

Deputy Chief of Bangka Resort Police, Police Commissioner R Wardhana Utama also confirmed that there were no student demonstrations or from other organizations in the area. "It is certain that there will be no demonstrations from fellow students or from other organizations," he said.

However, he said, his party only held activities according to the directions and instructions from the National Police Chief which was forwarded through the Regional Police Chief so that each work unit held a troop rally.

"According to the instructions of the National Police Chief, we will continue to prepare personnel if at any time they are needed to help at the center or at the Regional Police," he concluded.
