Four "Kumpul Kebo" Couples Arrested By Police At A Boarding House In Serang City

JAKARTA - The Cipocok Jaya Police have arrested four non-married couples and alcoholic beverages from the boarding house in Penaancang Village, Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City, Saturday, April 9, evening.

"Last night we carried out Operation Concentration of Ramadan. We found four pairs of men and women who were not husband and wife were in a boarding house," said Cipocok Jaya Police Chief AKP Boy Achmad to reporters, Sunday 10 April.

Not only that, the officers who carried out the Concentrated Operation also managed to find four plastic bottles containing liquor (alcohol).

"In the same boarding house, the officers also managed to secure four plastic bottles of liquor," he said.

For further investigation, the four non-married couples were taken to the Cipocok Jaya Police Headquarters.

"They were taken to the Cipocok Jaya Police for inspection and guidance," he said.

The police chief also appealed to the public to avoid activities that may disturb the Kamtibmas during the month of Ramadan.

"I appeal to the owners of boarding houses to prevent their residents from committing criminal acts or disrupting Kamtibmas such as drug parties, alcohol parties, online and immoral places of prostitution," he said.
