15-year-old Boy Manages To Run Away From Home After Seeing His Mother And Brother Killed By His Father

SERANG - Serang Police have arrested a man named SA (44) a resident of Kragilan Subdistrict, Serang Regency, who killed his wife, TJ' (43), and his 9-year-old son at his home on Friday, April 8, at around 01.30 a.m.

Serang Police Chief AKBP Yudha Satria, when confirmed, confirmed the incident and his party has secured the perpetrators.

"It is true, the Serang Criminal Investigation Unit has arrested the perpetrators of the murder of his wife and child at his home in Kragilan District, Serang Regency," Yudha said in a written statement received Friday, April 8, afternoon.

Yudha explained the chronology of the incident, according to him the perpetrator after killing his wife and child tried to commit suicide but failed.

"Initially, on Friday (April 8) at around 01.30 a.m., SA (the perpetrator) was known to want to kill his wife and two children. The perpetrator also tried to commit suicide by taking a kitchen knife from his brother's house to injure his hand, but failed, explained Yudha.

Still, Yudha said, one of his 15-year-old children managed to get out of the house to save himself and report to residents.

"At the time of the incident, one of the perpetrators' children who was 15 years old ran out of the house to ask for help from residents. Furthermore, local residents checked into the perpetrator's house and it was found that the wife and one of the perpetrator's children who were 9 years old were already dead in the room with poor condition covered in blood," added Yudha.

Currently, the perpetrator was taken to the Hermina Ciruas Hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, the two victims are still being treated by the Forensic Team at Bhayangkara Hospital.
