Forced To Enter Villa In Badung Bali, 6 Caucasians From Moldova And Russia Arrested

DENPASAR - Six foreign nationals (foreigners) from Moldova and Russia were detained by joint officers at the Jalan Munduk Kedungu villa, Badung, Bali.

The six foreigners are 5 people from Moldova with the initials DD (35), EE (32), EC (35), AE (5) and DM (9) and one Russian citizen with the initials AD (23).

"Six Moldovan and Russian foreigners are waiting for deportation at the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center. Previously, the six foreigners were reported by the public for disturbing the surrounding community in the Mengwi area, Badung," said Head of the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkum HAM) office, Jamaruli Manihuruk, Thursday, 7 April.

The Caucasians forced their way into a villa owned by a local resident without the owner's permission. The six Caucasians admitted that the villa belonged to them.

Based on the residents' reports, Denpasar Immigration officers, Mengwi Police and Badung Satpol PP secured the six Caucasians in Bali.

"The group of foreigners were uncooperative with the officers because they did not respond to the officers' questions and did not want to show their passports and residence permits. The six foreigners were then taken and temporarily placed in the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center," he added.

Five Moldovan nationals hold visitation residence permits. Meanwhile, one Russian citizen holds an investor's limited stay permit.

"Currently, the person concerned has been facilitated to communicate with the Moldovan State Embassy in Tokyo to help find a solution regarding his deportation. Meanwhile, the Russian citizen is in the process of coordinating with the Russian embassy for follow-up," said Jamaruli.
