JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) welcomes the Ummat Party whose name has just been announced by Amien Rais. With the announcement of the name of the new party, PAN said Amien had officially left and was no longer identical with them.

He believes that the emergence of Amien Rais' party will not have an impact on the PAN vote. This is because PAN and the Ummat Party are two different parties ideologically. PAN, said Viva, has a more religious nationalist ideology. Meanwhile, the Ummat Party is considered an Islamic party. This difference then makes the basis of differences in society exist.

Regarding the emergence of the Ummat Party, PAN also admitted that it had not made a special program. Viva said that his party is currently choosing to focus on completing the consolidation of the organization down to the village level through deliberations. In addition, there are other programs that they are also implementing, such as helping the government to eradicate the COVID-19 pandemic, carrying out constitutional functions in the legislature, to exercising control and supervision of the running of the government.

Meanwhile, at the party's internal level, he said, his party is currently moving massively to build a cadre process.

Furthermore, PAN is also not afraid that the Ummat Party will leave them behind. Because according to Viva, cadres and party administrators have political rationality and common sense.

Apart from that, PAN is also sure that its cadres will not move because to become members of the legislature and executive through electoral contestation and victories is the fruit of difficult struggles. Given that the party and election system based on the Political Party Law and Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections requires strong party resources.

Then, there are a number of requirements that a new party must have in order to participate in the election contest as a participant, and there are requirements for political parties participating in the election to pass the parliamentary threshold (PT) in order to win seats in the DPR RI, Provincial DPRD, and Regency / Municipal DPRD. In the video, the former chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) said that his new party would fight against injustice and uphold justice. In addition, this new party will work and struggle to uphold Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, and universal democratic rules.
