"The planned number of homecomers is approximately 10,500 people who can take part in the free homecoming program," said Director General of Land Transportation Budi Setiyadi as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 6.

Director General Budi explained that the Directorate General of Land Transportation is also preparing 350 buses for passengers and 34 trucks for motorcycle transportation.

He conveyed that the free homecoming registration mechanism could be done online through the website.

Registration of participants will be divided into 5 locations, namely Jakarta, Tangerang, Bogor, Bekasi and Depok. He said the Ministry of Transportation had prepared a budget of IDR 10 billion for free homecoming activities in 2022.

"This free homecoming program is budgeted at Rp. 10 billion," he said.
