Bareskrim Checks Captain Vincent For Trading Robots

JAKARTA - Vincent Raditya alias Captain Vincent is said to be undergoing an examination at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. The investigation was also related to a fraudulent investment case under the guise of a trading robot.

"Yes (checked, ed)," said the Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan when confirmed, Wednesday, April 6.

In that examination, Captain Vincent is still a witness. However, regarding the robot trading case involving the man, Whisnu could not confirm it.

The reason is, he has not received further information about it and the investigation is still ongoing.

"About trading robots, I'll make sure first (the case, ed)," said Whisnu.

For information, Vincent Raditya alias Captain Vincent is reportedly a binary options affiliate through the Oxtrade application.

Where, the Oxtrade case is included in the list of illegal trading cases handled by the Criminal Investigation Police of the National Police.

In fact, Captain Vincent was reported to the Polda Metro Jaya on suspicion of being a binary options affiliate through the Oxtrade application.

The report was submitted by a victim with the initials FF who was accompanied by his attorney with a Police Report Number: LP/B/1665/III/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya dated March 31, 2022.

As for this case, Captain Vincent was reported with Article 28 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 45 A paragraph 1 and/or Article 27 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 2 of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning ITE and/or Article 3 Article 5 in conjunction with Article 10 of Law 8 of 2010 concerning ML and/or Article 378 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the 1st Criminal Code.
