Bengkulu Police Seize 1,754 Bottles Of Alcohol During Raids, Dozens Of Bottles Turn Out To Be Expired

BENGKULU - The Bengkulu Resort Police (Polres) through members of the Macan Gading opsnal confiscated as many as 1,754 bottles of liquor from various brands of the active result of Ops Pekat Nala 1 in 2022.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit at Bengkulu Police, AKP Welliwanto Malau, said the liquor was confiscated from a liquor-selling shop on Jalan Kalimantan, Kampung Kelawi Village, Sungai Serut District, Bengkulu City.

Malau said, at the first stall during a search, his party confiscated 1,137 bottles of liquor from various brands.

Then at the second stall, his party confiscated 617 bottles of alcohol of various brands and various kinds of 14 bottles of Prost Alster brand drinks that had expired.

Currently, the drink has been brought to the Bengkulu Police and his party will coordinate with the South Sumatra Police Labfor regarding the authenticity of the drinks and drinks found that have expired.
