Scorned For Writing Minister Of Religion Yaqut To 'Yakult,' PAN Spokesperson Febri Wahyuni Suggestion: Mas Why Not Just Change Cholil?

JAKARTA - Spokesman for the DPP PAN, Febri Wahyuni, caused a stir in cyberspace after writing the name of the Minister of Religion, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas as 'Yakult' on his personal Twitter account, @UniEbby. This article clearly provoked various comments from netizens.

Initially, Febri Wahyuni replied to a video containing a meeting between Minister of Religion Yaqut and the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Nadiem Makarim. The meeting was the first step in coordination to discuss the issue of removing the phrase Madrasah from the draft bill.

"Well, it's good that the coordination is with the Yakult... wkwkwk Mandatory Bill Revision!!" he wrote published Thursday, March 31. This tweet clearly invites scorn from netizens because they feel that the person concerned has deliberately distorted the name of the Minister of Religion Yaqut to become Yakult.

Receiving the 'attack', Febri Wahyuni then clarified that when he tweeted he used a Samsung cellphone. As a result, the word that should have been Yaqut became Yakult.

"Next time I'll do better. I didn't mean to be rude. When I realized the typo, it turned out to be too busy... it's okay to focus on mistakes like this, so I'm a student in the future. I hope my friends will also listen to my other more substantial tweets,"

"It's only natural that someone framing my tweet with a typo because of the auto text. However, the tweet was not meant to attack the Minister of Religion personally. It's purely a typo because it's auto text on my cellphone, I rarely type the word Yaqut. So far, I have often mentioned the word Minister of Religion," he defended himself.

After providing clarification, Febri Wahyuni then apologized by mentioning the Twitter name of the Minister of Religion Yaqut, @YaqutCQoumas.

Ironically, in the next tweet, Febri Wahyuni even asked, why did Minister of Religion Yaqut not just use Cholil's name so that later he wouldn't make a mistake when he tweeted.

"I'm allowed, mas. So there's a lot of typo, before Eid, let's forgive each other.. I'm sorry, mas, for making noise... I'm sorry,"

"Mas Yaqut, why don't you use Cholil's name anyway, bro.. it's complicated, this name is a slip... one country is excited...@YaqutCQoumas," he wrote.

The proposal to change Cholil's name is not without reason. Febri Wahyuni thinks this name is much better, more comfortable when called. After all, Adti from Cholil is a skilled, tenacious and competent person.
