Mattoanging Stadium Renovation, Pride Of Makassar International Class, Will Be Tendered Soon

JAKARTA - The stages of the renovation process for the Andi Mattalatta Mattoanging Stadium continue. Governor of South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Nurdin Abdullah witnessed the signing of the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) contract

The signing of the Mattoanging Stadium DED was carried out between the South Sulawesi Provincial Youth and Sports Office together with PT Arkonin Jakarta and Construction Management (MK) with PT Griska Cipta Jakarta.

"This indicates that we have completed all development preparation documents, starting from the DELH (Environmental Evaluation Document), Amdal, to Amdalalin," said Nurdin Abdullah, Monday, September 28.

Furthermore, the South Sulawesi Provincial Government will immediately prepare a preparation document for the physical construction tender for the Mattoanging Stadium.

"Hopefully our intention in presenting an international class stadium for the people of South Sulawesi will be given convenience and blessings," said Nurdin.

The rebuilding of the Andi Mattalatta Mattoanging Stadium is indeed being taken seriously by the South Sulawesi Provincial Government. Governor Nurdin previously promised a budget of up to IDR 1 trillion.

"In the initial stage, the Provincial Government (Sulsel) is preparing Rp 200 billion," said Nurdin, Tuesday, July 28.

According to Nurdin, the construction of the Mattoanging Stadium will begin in 2020. On Tuesday, July 28, the emptying of part of the room at the Mattoanging Stadium began. After that, the old stadium will be demolished to build a new international standard building.
